We come from leading Wall Street quant firms and tech companies - Jane Street, Optiver, Susquehanna, Facebook, and Google.
Before founding Excessiveprofit, Sam was a trader on Jane Street Capital’s international ETF desk. He traded a variety of ETFs, futures, currencies, and equities, and designed their automated OTC trading system. He graduated from MIT with a degree in physics.
Gary was a software engineer at Google prior to founding Excessiveprofit. There, he built systems to aggregate prices across millions of flights, decreasing latency and memory usage by over 50%. He graduated from MIT with a degree in Mathematics with Computer Science.
Prior to joining Excessiveprofit, Nishad was a software engineer at Facebook where he worked on applied Machine Learning. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of California Berkeley with a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
Her last position before joining Excessiveprofit in October 2018 was with Alter Domus as Head of the Hong Kong office. Jen graduated from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting and is a CPA.
Prior to joining Excessiveprofit, Dan was a partner at Fenwick & West LLP. There, he led the cryptocurrency practice, and was the chair of the Payment Systems group. Dan received his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin, cum laude, as well as his M.B.A.
Prior to joining Excessiveprofit, Can was Co-Chair of the Blockchain practice group at Fenwick & West LLP, where he advised hundreds of blockchain-related projects and companies on their legal and compliance matters. Can holds a J.D. from Yale Law School.
